Pre Rain Man Autism

Figured out Autism is the next 1000 chapters in psychology. Once we learn the picture thoughts that happen during the lack of eye contact, normal thoughts result. We build on the work of Temple Grandin and we missed Rain Man 's curse. Autism Is BOTH mrdd and Einstein and even social functioning people

There are at least 200 more Autisitc people like me, that function very well and modern autism will not own up to us. We connect MR/DD to Einstein and real life. We missed Rain Man's curse (thankfully) The Turing Motor is Green has no up and down moving parts and will get a reasonable car 90 MPG. It is the motor Ford and Mercedes would have built if they understood their own. It is Autistic Obession and splinter skills all figured out!

old and NEW Autism

The new face of Autism : what used to odd strange kids figuring out and overcoming in life learning a never in print thought process is now a designer buzzword epidemic, The results that follow are a miserable account of modern Autism and perhaps too many experts inventing their own condition.

I cry knowing that Autism is both MR/DD and Einstein and our picture thoughts hold the keys to psychology and man's mind but modern epidemic Autism is now so broad and bold that there is no way the genius of Autism can shine like it used to. If old autism could be admitted to most of the autistic people of today would be labeled with some other condition and few are actually autistic. Mixing Old and New Autism has just made the Modern Mess we know so well as autism. Even worse the experts that created autism are the very ones the understand it the least. This begs the question just how many Autism Researcher are in this for the job and their chance at fame and fortune at the expense of some "retards".

Modern Autism research and the allowed bad behavior of its people has done far more harm than good and made 1st class "brats". If old Autism and our Parents were allowed to be heard ,our very strange childhood and the tough grooming having to be done by our parents and teachers and the odd Splinter skill learning we did by happenstance would be the very key to overcoming
Autism just like we used to be before Autism went designer. Our Experience and double blind Experience is blueprinted with The Enigma by Andrew Hodges (1983)
Few if any modern Autism researchers could read the book and see the Autism in it. What A shame that thought process is the building blocks to man's mind and usual man is too lazy to look and " feel " the obvious. Why doesn't that Shock me? Rich Shull on the Blog Pre Rain Man Autism.

From the web.....
Beach, California (CNN) -- The Bilson family is like many other families: three kids, a cat, and a small, lovely home with lots of family photos and carved wooden wall signs with sayings like "Live, Laugh, Love."

Mary Bilson tries to contain her autistic daughter Marissa's tantrum, as Marissa's brother Brendan looks on.

But step inside their house after 4 p.m. most weekdays and you'll want to cover your ears because of the noise -- the screaming, to be exact. These are not the shouts of sibling rivalry or parental annoyance. This is the high-pitched, ear-shattering sound of a 13-year-old girl. More accurately, it is the sound of a frustrated, irritated, very loud teenager with autism.
Marissa, the middle Bilson child, was diagnosed with autism when she was a toddler. Her mother, Mary, a nurse, knew something wasn't right early on, when young Marissa's tantrums were off the charts and seemingly unwarranted.
But during the first few years, doctors told Mary Bilson that her daughter was fine and this behavior would eventually pass. They were wrong on both counts.
Marissa's behavior has not passed; it has, in fact, become worse. According to Bilson, Marissa and her tantrums rule the household. "I don't want to hear her screaming and tantruming, so we pretty much let her do what she wants," Bilson says. "We" means Mary, her husband, John, and their two other children, Brittany, 15, and 6-year-old Brendan.
Keeping the peace means that, when it comes to Marissa, the rules are different. She is allowed unlimited time on the one family computer. She is allowed access to her siblings' rooms and possessions. She is allowed to eat dinner at the computer instead of the family table.
But before you sit in judgment of the Bilsons, and suggest they just need a firm hand to keep their middle child in line, consider one thing: They are trying to cope with a child with severely impaired social sensibilities.

"Do you think people who don't have children with autism know how tough it is to deal with them?" CNN's senior medical correspondent, Elizabeth Cohen, asked Marissa's mom in a recent interview.
"No," Mary Bilson replied. "And I don't see how they could."
She's right -- we can't, because many of us have never seen autism in action. Autism is described on the National Institutes of Health Web site as a "developmental disorder that appears in the first three years of life, and affects the brain's normal development of social and communication skills." According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, autism and related disorders affect about one out of every 150 babies born each year.
Autism manifests itself in many different ways. Although there are some common threads, like language issues, repetitive movements and difficulties connecting to others, specific behavioral patterns are largely unique to the individual. "Children with autism are all different; they are like snowflakes," explains Dr. Ronald Leaf, co-director of the group Autism Partnership.
The one thing that Leaf believes they all have in common is that "they are not expected to do enough." Leaf insists we have set the bar too low for what we think children and adults with autism can do. "They are highly teachable," he says. "You just have to have a good teacher."

A good teacher is exactly what Bilson was looking for to help her with Marissa. She knew that her daughter's behavior needed to be reined in, and it needed to be done now.
"She is getting older. She's 13 and her tantrums are louder and longer than they used to be. It's just so inappropriate. It was OK when she was much younger, but now that she's going to be an adult soon, she can't be behaving this way," Bilson says with tired resignation.
But what could the Bilsons do? This family doesn't have a lot of extra money, and most programs either aren't covered by insurance or have long waiting lists. The costs are staggering, according to the Web site FightingAutism.org. Families with autistic children can expect to spend $30,000 annually to provide proper medical, educational and other assistance necessary for dealing with an autistic child.
Enter Autism Partnership, or AP. This group, founded in 1994, offers extensive therapeutic services to children and adults with the disorder. One of its most unique programs is an intensive one-on-one, at-home intervention service that is similar in scope to what happens on the television show "Nanny 911." It's not cheap -- about $2,500 per day, typically for a five-day period (with additional days on an "as needed" basis).

Most of AP's work is grounded in a behavior modification technique known as Applied Behavioral Analysis or ABA. Essentially, the method breaks down behavior patterns, rewarding proper behavior while being careful not to encourage improper responses.
And that is exactly how AP therapist Rick Schroeder hopes to reshape Marissa Bilson's worst behavior. The group, which met Marissa while working in her school, offered the Bilson family a free week-long intervention with the proviso that CNN be allowed to record the process.
The week started off with a day of observation -- a day with lots and lots of screaming and tantrums, that left Schroeder stunned. He had observed Marissa at school where, he says, she was much less demonstrative.

But Schroeder is still eager and ready to tackle the challenge.
"I think the family is starting to realize something needs to change, and that's very good," he says after his day of observation. "As far as Marissa's behavior goes -- and the level that she is capable of going to -- she's pretty much out of control, for sure."

Tolerance

The public is wonderfully tolerant. It forgives everything except genius. Oscar Wilde

If only it could tolerate genius or what it considers genius, Mankind would be pleased to learn genius is just pure simple basic human thought- the longhand version of it. Normal thought is often the just the short hand version of human thought and the short cuts that allow us to present as normal. These thoughts are just too short to allow us to really "think".

Like anything in life Man fears what he has never understood, so all the high functioning Autistics in the world that broke Rain Man's Curse typically long before Rain Man and designer autism are just fodder in the autism puzzle. As autism is the unique link between mental retardation and Einstein it is naturally the very last utopia the ultimate goal of figuring out man's mind. 'Funny' if the Experts of Autism would read our Blueprint and re-discover our mind set not only would they "cure" autism they would expose the very core of the mind as well. Meanwhile our inventions and insight still filter into the world at large eventually but overcoming man's mindset and herding instinct is the impossible dream.

Blinding ignorance does mislead us.

Blinding ignorance does mislead us. O! Wretched mortals, open your eyes!
Leonardo da Vinci

Di Vinci was not being "harsh" with this comment, he was stating a fact! I suspect he like many others of us , knew the deep depths of picture thoughts. Picture thoughts are the deepest most complicated human thoughts and those of us blessed with them are also for ever cursed as we simply know there is so much the common person does that is so inept. We operate several levels deeper than average and water down our thoughts. Most typical humans only think just enough to be dangerous and long thought threw ideas are foreign concepts. Even the ability to do deep thoughts are just beyond the grasp of mankind.

All one needs to do in my opinion is watch a sitcom TV show and see why the world is so backward. I typically cringe as I realize shows like this are nirvana to people. How can they be fun and insightful? I despise shows like this as they all follow a pattern have a bit of build up an then a happy ending. I guess my point is if this is the typical mind set and standard of performance required to be "human" it is no great wonder man is still so backward.

I guess what scares me even more is the fact if our deep thoughts and the 1000's of chapters they can add to the psychology books are ever figured out there is a section of the future book that can be titled "this will make you smart" as they discover the building blocks of the mind ( AKA picture thoughts) are just one step- a simple step in becoming a "smart" person. The world fears the atom bomb and world wide destruction but I fear our deep thoughts will be exposed and common thinkers will only go about copying us with 1/2 the facts and "pour too much" something in the mix. Ignorance indeed is bliss when it is unnoticed but, I guess the world is also saved by the very same ignorance that assures mankind is in effect too stupid to tie his shoes.

Some of Di Vinci's Ideas still have never seen the light of day and I feel many are doable and indeed needed. The ONLY invention Di Vinci and many others have failed to over come is human nature; we know its ignorance all too well and the mass ignorance on a wide scale is the biggest problem facing mankind. The biggest and the best inventions like Turing's computer we all use today were once "big" ideas , funny ideas and just out right hogwash (American Slang) but when the world needs them it will drop its guard and let a few things pass. If the World didn't need Turing's Computer he would have been ignored, funny he still is to large degree as the ignorance of the world at large assure he remains hidden . I bet many homophobic groups would have to boycott the computer they love so much, if they knew it was invented by a gay man

I realize for those that know me personally I come off a bit odd like many Autistic do but while we can't hear correctly and we hear decibels more than you do, and in my case I can't do simple math easily, it appears like we are smart as a sack of rocks. BUT , go deep go into the deep depth of our complicated thoughts and very keen (too keen) senses and then realize we are watering down our thoughts to your level and suddenly we don't present so bad.

Autism Logic?

We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.
Albert Einstein

Someday, probably not in my life time, when this Autism puzzle is solved yet again, Mr Einstein's quote above will make perfect sense as it does now to everyone BUT the Autism Experts that have never had an autism thought/ let alone converted autism thoughts to real ones. Many Autistic Kids have the autism thoughts like he had but most never get developed as modern expert peer driven Autism ties our arms behind our backs and in effect kills us with their piss poor logic and we end up spinning our wheels. While they scream and worry lack of eye contact and poor social skills and play out the antics of designer Autism all they really need to do is let us do our own thing our own way and then see just what it is we do to overcome autism and indeed connect to real life.

There are Autism experts (too many) in behavior, diets ,psychology, and indeed a few less than stellar doctors looking for an unscratched Career and all this does is use the same thinking to create the problem that really was never a problem.

At the heart of all this Autism mess is the fact no expert realized that MR/DD is one side of Autism and with just a little bit of luck Einstein is the other side of autism (yes All Autism). None of the Experts will own up to the autistic people that have figured out a never in print before different kind of human thought process that is indeed the building blocks of man's mind. All told our building block thoughts will add 1000's of pages to the psychology books but, only when Man himself does the impossible- Listen. The simple uncompleted picture thoughts that make us idiots with no eye contact are the very ones that when developed make us Einstein. When we learn to control those thoughts we use our optic and brain generated images (picture thinking ) we become social as we can keep eye contact and read body language for once. Autism could be a simple grade 1-6 pre school where we learn to do what your do. But until an Autism Expert can tell us what a Picture in picture thought is and what, 3&4 demnsion thoughts are how we use still and motion pictures and in general how our "daydream" lack of eye contact thoughts convert to normal thoughts their ignorance is just a self fulfilling wet dream bound to keep many Autism Experts "employed". Sadly an autism student that presents like a fool or (forgive me) a retard does little to inspire the confidence of the natural ignorance of our Autism GURU'S. Someday ,just like we did some autism kids will pass Mensa tests and our splinter skills will develop and if one is really lucky our insight and inventions will shine ,just like Einstein's name does today and Alan Turing's he was father of the computer. It seems we all were Autisitcs, trust me normal thinkers don't have a clue! Until Autism quits speaking and listens- Autism will remain a designer farce.

Before Autism went Designer and Dr Rimland went for broke and played his hand in the fame game Autism pretty much solved its self in its own strange way. The legions of us that did this stunt are banished from Autism Circles today as the idiots that made autism are very same ones tying to solve autism .

We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.
Albert Einstein

ABC NEWS SITE

From the Autism Society of America Central Ohio Chapter newsletter November 2008/December 2008

" Recourses of the month: www. autism today .com and ABC news recently launched it on Call + Autism center where visitor can find Answers to questions on Autism answered by medical experts from prestigious medical centers across the country. The Site includes over 200 common questions and answers about autism answered by knowledgeable professional in the field ,such as What is Autism Spectrum Disorder? What is an IEP?, and is Autism present from Birth? The Q and A's are broken down into the following categories: the segments featuring viewpoint from families and individuals affected by Autism , resources and autism special reports from Nightline and Good Morning America. Visitors can also post their own questions to the experts. To visit the site go ABC news.com health/autism."

I have not seen this completed site but I was consulted on it many times by ABC's Lara.X.Salahi.-ND@abc.com while she was researching the groundwork for the site. I told her of old Working autism and gave her the links to others like me that build on Temple's work . I had to warn her our story and its awesome results don't even ring a bell with the modern Autism Apologists that live the designer Autism dream. I'm sure when she checked out our story with the ASA for example the response she probably got was anything but complementary.

I look forward to looking over the site " Old Autisitcs" like me were promised an honorable mention at one time, I'd be interested if it came to pass. I fear with all the experts of autism onboard we were simply out gunned but I might be pleasantly shocked to discover all of the autism story on their site.

Autism and the Gym.

Autism and the Gym.

Despite the super poor economy, world-wide depression I am so fortunate to be employed full-time at an up scale gym. I use the free membership to lift weights before I start work. I have been lifting weight for close to two months now and get the "runner's high" if you will from the exercise. The looks of my body are improving as well, not bad for a 40 something. This gym has all the right equipment to work every muscle group and I usually get to every machine once a day.

I often get to compare notes on lifting with others in the gym both long time well built, 'gym rats' (slang) and newbies like me. There is indeed a difference in the weight lifting experience. I got the chance to compare notes with a fellow weight lifter the other week and he was my "clone" being the same weight and build. We both did a work out together and did the same machines and tried to lift the same amounts of weight and on two machines we did all we could possibly do. He is ignorant of autism's pain tolerance and my autism but none the less we did our routine. There was indeed a difference He was SCREAMING AND GRUNTING and in agony lifting his weight and while I lifted the same amount I was able to be quiet about it. It was work , and it was anything but agony as he was displaying.

Alan Turing (1912-1954) Gay Autistic and Father of the Computer often ran Marathons without walls meaning he never felt the brick wall most runners feel on long runs. He even wrote to his mother (before phones and E mails) that his running mates were in agony and nursing sore muscles but he was "painless" I noted the same ideal all my life from injuries sustained from work (auto mechanic) and my Athleticism pursuits mainly riding bicycles over 10,000 miles in my life.

Back at the gym I get to feel up my partner while his muscles were in action and they felt 'Electric' they felt like something was pumping threw them . His muscles were as big as mine were and mine just felt like solid muscle, but there was no "electric" going threw them it seems. The ONLY thing I felt on serious whole body exercises was my 16 staples in my gut a left over wound from my auto mechanic days. They indeed felt wild and hurt, BUT nothing else hurt, I was not getting ANY SIGNS I was working too hard or lifting at my limits let alone above them. Even back in gym class in junior high I first noticed this lack of pain ideal. Both then and Now If I lift too much my muscles get all shaky and I can't hold my arms study for example If I have lifted too much with my arms. My partner has never experienced that and suggested he felt enough of something to tell him when to quit. He too felt my muscles as I lifted on the same weight machine and he noticed the muscle bulge but not the "something" flowing threw the muscle.

At one time the Autism Pain Tolerance was well known before the Designer Rain Man Autism Era and it was once known as non cuddly babies among other things. I devised a test for the pain tolerance and published it in my banished book Autism, Pre Rain Man Autism describing my idea of using a torque wrench to see just how much we didn't feel. Torque Wrenches break away when a preset torque is met. Autisitcs people would out do the torque setting and break a bolt before we felt it to be tight. ( I have done that a "thousand times") . This Pain Tolerance is indeed a huge factor in out toilet training habits as we often don't feel the signals of when we have to go and when we are done. The DEEPER in our bodies something is the less of it we feel. While this is old news and forgotten new in autism circles if could be remembered today it go miles in explaining lot of things Autistically. Shadily, it might well become some sort of acid test for autism and prove that many diagnosed Autisitcs are not autistic and think of the trouble that would be? Once the idea of the Pain tolerance was remembered and once it was obvious It was dropped by the Modern Designer Autism Empire Autism would have some explaining to do. Their first question would be why only the older style autisitcs people have the pain tolerance?

More importantly this pain tolerance could explain many things medically and open whole new frontiers. Just imagine the torture chamber the drug companies would set up for us. Think of the billions they could make If they copy our Pain Tolerance in the from of a pill. Once they get wind of this I bet they look into our story. I know Modern Autism People are lucky to make it to a group home and the 4 th grader in college syndrome is the ultimate goal of an autism life but we resemble the mold we are poured from. Old Autisitcs like me that missed the curse were poured from a different mold and the results are far better than today's best get privileged to experience. As all good empires do they simply ignore those of us that have done so well and connected MR/DD to Einstein. PLEASE urge your Autism Leaders to open up this can of worms and see what they been missing.
