McCarthy claimed the MMR vaccine was to blame for her son's diagnosis with autism and has since become a strong advocate for autism awareness. Her claims that autism is curable has become a controversial subject, which she focuses on in her newest book, 'Mother Warriors: A Nation of Parents Healing Autism Against All Odds.' She says she wants to bring hope to families and give them more options than doctors are currently providing.

Autism is indeed "doable" it is a gift a godsend it is both MR/DD and Einstein and sadly a designer condition as well as, about 15 different enigma's, None of which have been figured out by the so called' Autism Experts' that invented modern autism. Factor back in what the designer Rain Man Autism 'experts' forgot or never knew and Autism was cured long before it was a "trouble". ""'Mother Warriors: A Nation of Parents Healing Autism Against All Odds.'"" have like the rest of autism simply got a hold of the wrong end of the autism stick. Autism fully explained as our anthropology of Temple Grandin's know it , is simply a series of Enigma's and a thought process that has never been in a book before. Autism is so simple so wild so unexpected and so doable that the modern designer autism is blown away with our success and there for will not even admit to it.
Everything we have haphazardly discovered that "cured our autism" has never graced a book before and explains every mystery of autism from the lack of eye contact to the food issues to our social and Einstein issues. Trust me people starting out on the MR/DD side of life and ending up in the Einstein of things have no real chance to be heard in the designer Autism Era. What a shame we have figured out the building blocks of the mind and we find our selves on the wrong side of the Rain Man Line to be noticed.
I don't doubt the sincerity of anyone in Autism in "finding the cure" or the celebrity supporting the "cure for autism" but I seriously question the Peer Review Autism Establishment that is doing a horrible job of remembering the very facts it chose to forget,,,,, by doing that the foundation of autism has gone missing for 40 years now hence the epidemic of autism ignorance complete with its designer autism status is a force leading autism in the wrong direction. We could easily add a 1000 chapters to the psychology books if only someone in Autism research would listen instead of speak for us. It seems they put the words in our mouth they want to hear and as a result they get the very autism they expect. We were so lucky to have missed Rain Man's Curse!
