Autism and water
CBS News Autism & Water
For those of you missing the American TV CBS news on 9-13-2007 They ran a story on Autism and water and how certain kids respond well to being on the water. Well, the gist of the story was DISCOVERY and AUTISM PROGRESS and while it really is to the so called autism experts totally lost in the autism experience they invented to a large degree. Might I suggest it is nothing more than simple everyday development? Before Rain Man and Autism were a BUZZWORD every autistic person was not straddled in special education or brought up in a time and place the attitude was we can do anything! THEN in modern times suddenly when autistic are allowed to do something, it is a miracle! The only miracle about it is the Autism 'Professionals' even gave us credit for doing even that. They must allow us a little limited success occasionally something they can parade in the news media or something they can hang their hat on but in reality if any autistic person does more they are banished from autism forever, just like our anthropology was.
When we were in school 1960s and before, many of us in our anthropology excelled and learned absently all the special qualities to autism. (The stuff beyond what Temple wrote about) even our parents teacher and tutors were delighted with our odd progress. I have lost count how many in our anthropology were held back in one subject or tutored all the time and yet we all report being streaks ahead of others in other subjects if our splinter skills were tapped. Splinter skill learning was they every first thing modern Autism made taboo and here it was our best asset! When we were absently challenged like this and figured out the building blocks of the mind we also discovered Autism eventually yields normal thought. Who would have ever guessed that one. Rain Man has spoken and thus autism is a bigger problem today than it ever was. Part of the true story of older Autism folks like me that missed Rain Man's Curse was we did a lot more and over came much better than the modern folks do. We were absent of all the gimmicks and diets of modern autism and sadly we are an embarrassment to modern Autism if they would admit to us. The autistic guys relating well to water are simply doing what every kid does and what autism claims we can't do; thus their amazement. In reality before Rain Man most autistic kids did far more than this on a daily basis and even absently had many more 'AH HA' moments worthy of more autism press than this event on the CBS news. All modern Autism has to do is search a little bit for those of us missing the Rain Man Era and then sallow hard and admit gee we jumped the gun and missed a lot of points to autism. Now that will never happen the empire is too big and today so their full fledged self imposed ignorance is applauded and praised in a fury of more ignorance.( No wonder the autism rate is epidemic the numbers don't lie but the wrong facts do) Perhaps worst of all we have figured out the building blocks of the human mind and new age Autism is responsible for holding back all of mankind.
I'm sorry I don't mince words or tow the party line in autism but that is only because there are many more chapters to the autism story than the modern professionals will admit to. Our anthropology has discovered the links between Autism , MR/DD , normal social thoughts and even Einstein type thoughts like Alan Truing used to invent the computer with. The joy of autism is having figured out the sub thought process of the human mind. On the other hand, Modern Autism is just delighted we are a little too late and they can continue on making discovery after discovery and making a media event of the trivial pursuits of a profound autism empire hell bent on discovering what it should have known all along the principles of Crypto-Sensitive Autism the autism time and Dr Rimland purposely forgot. All along we have been there and done that. (Well, to be fair the ASA did dust off the crypto sensitive autism files and paid us some lip service. They only did that to cover all bases they were sacred some of us might acutually be able to unite and crash their party)
For the blueprint of autism please read the book The Enigma by Andrew Hodges it is the biography of Autism and the story of Alan Truing our Autistic hero (1912-1954). HINT I bet if a modern autism professionals would read it they would not understand it but they try would try like hell to copy everything in it, in vain. All they have to do is ask us to explain it to them but the cardinal principle of All of new autism is we are very retards they are researching and we are also too stupid to fart, so there is no way any of us could have figured out autism: its sooooo complicated? or is it?
