Behavior and old autism
The Behavior Challenge of Autism / Looking Back
Quite often today as Autism makes it way in its new found state ,Autism behavior is often very note worthy and makes the news as it recently did in Cincinnati when a 6 year old autistic kid beat up another student. (on TV)
Be that as it may and I will let the new age "experts" that know autism so well discuss it and work it out but my message is OLD autism also had it share of behavior issues and If autism would admit to our anthropology and interview our parents look over our school records and talk to our teachers and principals they will learn were "trouble" with a capital 'T' in grade school. However pretty much by 6th grade we were "honestly" model students and most of us were lost in our autism worlds. In this era we were not even labeled Autistic as it was not diagnosable and there were no drugs to be prescribed and more importantly discipline was expected and achieved from everyone in our school no exceptions.
There is no reason an autistic child of today has to be spectacle or an embarrassment to anyone, himself, his parents or his school but alas were in a new age of no touch discipline and in an era of let the pills do the work. While the' Experts' traditional thinkers really do think it is the autism and not the child they don't know the connection of autism to normal thought. IF they did, they would sing a different tune and realize like we do they have the wrong end of the stick Autism wise. Autism is the building blocks of the human mind and those building block occur and should develop during the lack of eye contact. That is our thought process in action NOT us ignoring you. The sooner we learn some autism social thoughts called Picture in Picture thoughts the sooner we make real eye contact and the sooner we get along in the real world. That used to be a common haphazard development for us and no longer is for the modern diagnosed autistic kids are indeed cursed by Rain Man era autism.
I fear that is year another reason WHY autism officials of the new empire refuse to admit to us once our odd working behaviors are exposed and the good results are exposed their approach to autism and the resulting "in your face" issues will be an even bigger pill to swallow.
