A Projection thought from Pillow Talk
A projection thought
Advanced Autism, The picture above is a 'copy' of an actual autistic projection thought.
If you were able to hook a TV monitor to my brain and watch and monitor my picture thoughts this is what you would see. ( Serious humor) talk of science fiction). The Sky scraper and the city background would be reality vision the same thing you would see standing right beside me. YOU would NOT see Rock Hudson or Doris Day walking side by side. This would be a brain generated Projection Thought that only a picture thinker would see.
Perhaps in real life the conversation might be Who was that couple from down the street? I would see the projection image of them and TRANSLATE that image to words and state their name.
This advanced Autism ,proficient picture thought, was developed by necessity. We are not quite sure how this advanced state of thought developed but, typically those of us in the real world unaware of autism developed this as way of keeing up. I learned to do this while working in an auto mechancis shop. It allowed me to keep track of the real world and still think in Pictures.
In my younger days the ROCK and DORIS picture would have been a single traditional picture thought that would have cancled out optic vision (like Temple wrote about) and all I would have been aware of would have been my brain generated thought. While lost in that thought My Optic vision would have been OFF my hearing would have been OFF and I would have missed the real world. We had the basic of picture thought figured out and simply combined a few processes. Today modern aspies don't have near the chances we had to develop our working natural thought process. MOST of our sucess was from our splinter skills and following their lead.
This form of thought has never been in Print or even figured out by anyone in psychology ,research ,education or Autism. Understandably, all the experts think we are full of something and they are too scared to do a study on our anthropology and figure out why we do so well.
The Picture in this post and the others like it come from the Movie PILLOW TALK staring Rock Hudson and Doris day. This was late 1950's early 1960's release. The picture I copied here mimics our proficient picture thoughts. View them in the movie, and get and actual feel for real autism picture thoughts and how they work and flow. They indeed work as easily as you view them in the movie.
