Well, you can't help but know that autism is a big event these days: between Oprah, Larry King and many other celebrities all toting the autism party line the autism they know and have invented has been getting of plenty of air time. Well, curse you Rain Man the movie that gem of good idea has been blown all out of proportion.Autism in its zest to become an easy uncritqued career path for many people and a horrible life event for its people and their parents, has now become anything BUT autism.
All the points and discoveries insight shared by these new found experts is all too little too late, Old Crypto Sensitive Autism the autism time forgot has figured out much more autism than modern autism will ever figure out. "GASP" and modern autism could care le$$. They have spun their narcissistic web of superficial autism practices and made the most dreadful mistake of all and assumed autism is MR/DD. Autism is both MR/DD and EINSTEIN . The old Crypto Sensitive Autism that Dr Rimland forgot as he respun autism cannot be admitted to today. Old Autism absently had a different approach to autism that worked much better. We have an entire anthropology of people form all over the world that have figured out autism a never in print before thought process (taking place during the lack of eye contact) and a very successful group of people with many of us doing a nearly normal life.
Modern Autism knows all to well, they have blackballed every one of us that has done more than Temple Grandin form their ranks. Admission to any one of us that missed Rain Man 's Curse will seriously deflate their balloon. If Autism were truly serious and caring and their heart was in the right the place and they were quality researchers and not simply fundraising "experts" old Autism that we have done would be a welcome roadmap to follow. ALAS, they can't follow our guide no matter how well it works-just how could they go back on Larry King or Oprah and admit publicly they cheated mankind out of his core knowledge base as they were driven by an easy career to lazy to do their job?
When Modern autism took root I'm sure they worked on the assumption we were to dumb to fart and to be fair that is how we presented. BUT, the late Dr Rimland and others have seen plenty of us that have made it in real life and despite it taking many of us 40 years to figure out the building blocks of the human mind (autism); they jumped the gun and solved autism to the level of a group home condition. Then they have the nerve call themselves a success!
This whole Autism Business we know so well started with Rain Man the Movie and Dr Rimland and the public at large seen Rain Man as "very cool" and very smart and sadly never stopped to think that Rain Mans thoughts that worked for him so well are the very thoughts we have developed and honed into our working autism that mimics normal thought.
Despite many modern autism people fighting back (knowing they have more to offer than autism will admit to) and despite and old working Autism anthropology of people that have been there and done that Modern Autism Speaks but will not listen. No self respecting psychologist our anyone in the Autism Empire will ever admit to the fact there are many more chapters to Autism than they will admit to. They would rather jump threw hoops to protect their paychecks and their peer review status before they will ever do the obvious right thing. I mean really just who would (or could) believe an Autistic person we are the very 'retards' they are researching after all, and of course were 'too dumb' to figure out a thing.

We are also the only ones with the inside information to figure out autism were the only ones that think autistically after all. IF and that is a BIG IF, Autism would ever care to listen they would be impressed to see how Autism is BOTH MR/DD and Einstein. I mean I must have stuck a nerve as my comments of old working autism were banished from an Autism CDC town hall meeting that also had lots of Autism Protesters out in the street. All the Big names in Autism were there and I suspect that is why our comments were banished from the CDC public record.
