"Rain Man" Speaks Autism Logic
The Turing Motor is a triple powered motor featuring one central spinning cylinder. It operates on Compressed air, Gasoline and Electric. This motor features no up and down moving parts, and takes advantage of the natural centrifugal forces of a spinning wheel to enable it to maximize the BTU potential of every drop of fuel. It will spin 2-3-4 times every time it is fired while running in the gas mode. Oxygen sensors will control when the exhaust valves are opened so that all available energy is released from the fuel that was spent. Even a catalyst is added part way in the burn process to assure full combustion. It switches effortlessly between compressed air, electric and gas functions. The Turing Motor concept has never been done before and is not a version of the Model T piston and cylinder motor. It rewrites all of engineering-autistically. It is named for Alan Turing 1912-1954 He was Autistic and father of the Computer. This is the motor Ford, Mercedes and other pioneers would have made if they understood theirs from an Autistic point of view.
The one central spinning cylinder of The Turing Motor is divided into three regions. There are two types of firing rings (think cylinder of a model t type engine) one set is compressed air it is used to start The Turing Motor and for very slow idle and also to slow down the motor from high speed and also to stop the motor during turn off. The Turing Motor will spin down slowly on its own with no load when turned off otherwise. The compressed Air function will help assure seamless switching between the idle and electric mode.
The second set of Firing Rings are the high speed power rings that operate on gasoline. Again think of these as Cylinders. If you have a four ring Turing Motor it would be like a current four cylinder car. The firing ring and their spinning combustion chambers run inside the spinning Turing cylinder. All intake air is lightly compressed and fuel is directly injected into the firing area. The valves are controlled from inside the crankshaft when and internal electric operated "camshaft" operates opening the valves that are designed to operate "on the fly" overcoming the obvious centrifugal force of the spinning cylinder. Oxygen sensors monitor the fuel spent and control the addition of a catalyst half way threw a firing cycle and then eventually signal the opening of an exhaust valve. Exhaust ports are vacuum filled to help assure a seamless engine flow.
Unlike Model T motors that have no choice but to use the fuel once and spit it out the exhaust The Turing motor can retain the heat the power and continue spinning the cylinder until it has used up all of its energy. Thus this gives the Turing Motor its 70% Efficient rating in the gas mode.
The electric mode is for mid range operation and most of the average city driving will happen in the electric mode. During full throttle operation BOTH the Electric and the Gas operations will function together in tandem. All 4 rings can operate or just one or two of the others can operate as needed. The Air functions are again for idle and starting mostly.
The Turing Motor will operate very hot compared to a piston and cylinder motor as it naturally keeps its heat of combustion a lot longer. To counter that the engine block will stand alone and the Oil Pan and other engine parts will be located away from the block. Accessory drive items such as power steering and A/C compressors will also be operated from a distance via an accessory shaft. During Gas operation (high speed) outside air vents will open for Max cooling. Electric operation will help keep the temperature down in city driving. It will be cooled with a gas like nitrogen or a freon.
The Truing Motor coupled with traditional pollution controls will result in a nearly zero emission motor and just the very motor Mother Earth needs so desperately. Autism insight from the Einstein thoughts to the MR/DD stupidity as well as the keen senses have in effect made the Rain Man version of the Car motor. You use Alan Turing's computer and its Autistic ways why not use the same logic base to drive a clean fuel efficient motor car?
