Autism Speaks, BUT DOES IT LISTEN?

Now in 2007 that Autism is a BIG EPIDEMIC and THE self inflated buzzword mental condition and also the "most popular" mental condition around these days, it is no doubt Autism is a bigger problem than the actual condition ever was. Now that Autism is a Billion dollar EMPIRE and has a life of its own, keeping the Empire growing and sustaining the employment for many in the field is 'Job One', not Autism research. This begs the question, is Autism Speaks and other autism funding in business for their health or ours? As long as, they keep diagnosing kids early in life, and send them to special education and group homes that in essence assures a supply of quality guinea pigs to research to death. Do they really care that some poor kid ends up in a group home? Why is Autism only a problem AFTER they made one of it? AFTER the Movie Rain Man? It seems like this entire Empire is built on 1/2 the facts thanks to the late Dr Rimland father of the movie Rain Man he either didn't know all he claimed of Autism, OR he purposely was re-inventing autism to suit his own needs and thus he also created a monster! I hope he was sincere in his ignorance and I wish Modern Autism would not follow his lead and listen to us that have figured out our autism. If Rain Man would have been about teddy bears the epedmic today would be teddy bears and we would have the Teady Bear 400 Nascar Race.


WHAT a Shame the Autistic people both Modern and Pre Rain Man that HAVE Figured out our conditions have discovered a totally different kind of human thought process that is both MR/DD and Einstein and "the experts" really couldn't care less as admission to our autism population will deflate their empire. We might be the very "retards" they are researching to death and thus we can't possibly have figured out Autism but we are the only ones with the inside information to do it. No Billion dollar Peer Driven Expert Empire will tolerate the truth when their paychecks depend on Autism Speaks and other Autism funding to keep them employed. Where else could some of these experts get their wordy, worldly anemic papers published? It is kind of an honor among thieves thing.

Actually if Autism had not be catapulted into the designer condition and older researchers were NOT kicked out in the 1960's They would know by now like we do Autism-ALL autism has an Einstein side to it. If we tap that we do very well in life on our own WITHOUT THEIR HELP. Our High Functioning Anthropology proves that time and again. Admitting to us is a poison pill. What a shame we have discovered an entire DIFFERENT human thought process that once figured out explains every aspect of autism and most of the human mind. We see Autism as the simple, slow motion step by step thought process the Sub level thoughts, humans do all the time to achieve "normal." ONCE we discover our secrets we flourish and do a real life we are even social and drive. We take Autism thoughts to the threshold of normal thoughts and EVEN beyond. Modern Autism never allows Autism Kids to even get close to that kind of success since they mold them into special education quickly. They need to INSTANTLY get that poor kid in a group home so that the Epidemic will not dry up! (and their Pay Checks) . Honestly, all Autism from the severe to the Savant is ALL the same thing (I know it presents the opposite way) but, the Experts have a hold of the wrong end of the stick and Autism Speaks but refuses to Listen!

Someday when My TURING MOTOR is powering NASCAR race cars and all cars and the wheels are falling off the Nascar cars as they are going too quick, I'll sponsor a car that will be called Autism Spoke. Meanwhile that is years away and might never happen, I'd have to topple their empire to do it. Look how long it took them to allow Toyota back in the race? A note to my International Readers, America again has her knickers in a twist as we wallow up to the fuel pumps in our BIG Sport utility vehicles (Suv's) big cars and motor homes that guzzle down gallons of wasted fuel and make tons of pollution that isn't necessary. Perhaps our Ego trip is finally over as our pocket books shrink and we start being responsible citizens to mother earth? We can only hope.

The TURING MOTOR

Short Thoughts, Short Changed - Autism's hope was extinguished

SHORT THOUGHTS, SHORT CHANGED ,Autism

As I meet modern Aspie from all walks of life one common thread I see in them is the lack of ability for deep complete thoughts. In general, that is also true of the younger generations as well.

I seen on "DR Science" on PBS a short 5 minute filler piece that explained (or attempted to) why you cried when cut an onion. I remember that same idea on OLD TV and they explained in depth how chemicals were released in the air, the names of the chemical etc. The modern explanation was your eyes water when you cut an onion and the reason in modern times REALLY (no kidding) was, how you like it if someone cut you! There was no more explanation than that.

I guess in the new world of short attention spans and instant gratification from hitting the 'enter' button has created a generation of superficial people that actually do get confused with an honest explanation. Talking with a picture board an aspie milestone, is seen as great. "We do that and then some." Teachers perhaps are limited to WHAT they can teach and for sure the examples they might use for fear of being accused of pushing one point or another are taboo. Thus they just 'idiot proofed Education' from Lawsuits mostly and teach the very basics and that is all.

I still experience however in the same people often wonderful in depth knowledge usually from their splinter skills that even modern autism can't turn off. That fountain of youth and knowledge is just seen as a the making of a savant and at least modern autism schools haven't succeeded in killing that yet. ( give them enough time) In reality those of us thinking with honed proficient picture thoughts know full well how the picture thoughts that we use that have never been in a text book before NEED complete thoughts and answers and indeed picture thoughts are more than capable of more advanced thoughts than normal thoughts are. I would have never invented my Turing Motor with normal thoughts. Normal thoughts will never discover Autism either they are just polar opposites.

Even more importantly, those deep thoughts we figure out are the spring board for our Picture in Picture thoughts the ones that tend to make us social! (and allow us to have eye contact)

See what happened, when the "experts" took over Autism and assumed we were MR/DD and treated us like such. See what happened when The Rain Man Empire created the self Experts of Autism with only peer reviewed input - They missed the whole point now they can't admit to us now! The Other Side to Autism

The world knows all too well of the Rain Man stereotype of autism where a person is a Math Genius and a social blundering idiot. That Gold Standard of Ignorance was the basis for the movie Rain Man and even the entire autism movement of today-see my previous post the child's book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night. It to Is the autism stereotype all over again.

When the Entire Autism Community looks for this type of behavior and in lots of ways molds us to fit their exception this is the autism they get. In a way they hope one of us might be a savant, that is good enough to parade to the TV /stage : This is the good for their ego. Odds are the rest of us are in a group home right where we are supposed to be in modern times. That also feeds the stereotype and heaven knows since the Rain Man stereotype has been instituted we are for sure the victim of autism ignorance. (with a sneer) Thank You Dr. Rimland. Autism ignorance is incurable it has too much money driving it.

Well, for the record the rest of us autistic people not fitting the Rain Man mold do rather well in real life. Modern Autism research knows of a few of us and naturally they will not even give us the time of day. We sour their milk. They will not allow our books to be published and for sure they will not stand there and allow the other side of autism to be told.

IF we are not a math Genius and a social blunder like Autism prefers, we actually do life pretty well and we are NOT a math genius, in fact most of us in the Social autism group that I'm describing here are math idiots and we might just barley handle daily math with the aid of a calculator. Lots of us seem to have a natural dyslexia and depending on our level of picture thoughts we experience more or less trouble with math. Even some of us including our Math genius and Autism Hero Alan Turing (1912-1954) were good at both. Had Alan been born 50 years later I predict Modern Autism would have got a hold of him and made him the next Rain Man. How Many Alan Turing's has it condemned to a group home? Alan by the way ,was a W.W.II hero and father of the computer. It was noted in The Enigma (1983 Hodges) He was an odd strange kid in School and NEVER gave eye contact! That is indeed the key to autism-lack of eye contact-is a great sign of working autism. In Autism thoughts, Brain generated images and Optic vision are interchanged, once we learn that and develop BOTH we do OK.

If Autism would ever care to do the right thing and admit to all of us and learn our odd thought process not only would they have egg on their face (it will wash off) It could explain all of autism and even why our proficient autism thoughts mimic traditional thoughts. I suspect there are a billion reasons not to admit to us, one for every dollar of Autism Research that has been funded-It is the Autistic person condemned to a group home that I feel for, not to mention their families that inadvertently helped put them there following all the gold standard advise of the Autism "experts." Experts may well be "experts" but that doesn't mean they present more than enough knowledge to be dangerous. In fact, they know enough of autism to realize if they admit to autism Dr Rimlands version, they built this charade upon , autism really does have a false foundation. Please help us put the foundation back under autism and try to erase the damage of Rain Man.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the in the Night Time, Mark Haden

(This is a Children's Autism Book)


If this book is an example of autism knowledge no wonder there is and epidemic of autism cases. This book has it all complete with the under pinning of a Rain Man Type Savant and I'm sure deep acclaim in Autism Peer Review circles. It really is a very good book over all and makes some great points but sadly not one of them is based in real autism facts.

The Autism Facts I refer to are the real life Autism of Autism's living anthropology of people from all over the world that have figured out Picture Thoughts, the building blocks of the human mind. NONE of what we have figured out has been in a text book before. IT is the very knowledge that we know that DOESN'T make us Rain Man. Our different before diagnosis (1960's or before) Autism Experience assures we connected to real life and missed Modern Autism 's Curse. NOW, Modern Autism could NEVER admit to us as even admitting to one of us will prove all of modern autism is a false epidemic based in true ignorance.

No Millinthrong of "Experts' self elected or otherwise but, all peer reviewed and approved will ever dream they ever made a mistake let alone admit they made a mistake: you can be sure it will never be rectified either. With the Autism Empire budgets toping over a billion dollars ,we will see an autism Telethon before we have anyone admit to the real life Temple Grandins of the world. They have been fooled by autism just like most autistic have and sadly since normal thinkers know "everything" there is no way we can more do more than be a group home zombie and those of us that are NOT are simply claimed to be high functioning or savants and we are given a pat on the back and told" Good Show Mate", and then told to get the ***** out of the way of autism and its ignorant sideways progress is in jeopardy if we speak too loud.

IF the same book were written with our Autism knowledge accounted for the book would be lots shorter and make perfect sense. If our Pre Rain Man Autism were accounted for we would tell how moving the furniture after Hoovering (sweeping) Is not all that big of a deal and how we learned absently to readjust our picture thoughts to the new arraignment. Of Course Modern autism doesn't even care of picture thoughts even though they are primary thought process. Even autistic don't realize their optic vision and brain generated images are interchanged at times making for an Autism Mess. We figured out our Autism thoughts by trial and error and modern Autism Folks are never even given the chance to explore their thoughts let alone think for themselves and come to the same conclusions we did. In fact Modern Autism insists on EYE CONTACT. That is where our thoughts really happen, let us have thoughts back!

Older Autisitc's are not included in ANYONE'S epidemic as we simply blended into real life, IF the Guru's of Autism would care to listen-if it is not to late-They could find out how Autism Thoughts are building blocks of Man's Mind. They would see how they got a hold of the wrong end of the stick and made a generation or two of serious Autism mistakes. Autism Research is doing more to hold back man's progress than any other research project going and sadly not one bit of the peer review research approving the every move of the growing epidemic is any smarter than the great book, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night.

A frown or a smile? Children with autism can't discern , Yes we can our High functioing Anthropology proves it time and again!

When we have a conversation with someone, we not only hear what they say, we see what they say. Eyes can smolder or twinkle. Gazes can be direct or shifty. “Reading” these facial expressions gives context and meaning to the words we hear.
In a report to be presented May 5 at the International Meeting for Autism Research in Seatlle, researchers from UCLA will show that children with autism can’t do this. They hear and they see, of course, but the areas of the brain that normally respond to such visual cues simply do not respond. From Rich Shull I beg to differ We are OFTEN deaf and blind the eyes might be open but they are not processing optic vision! Rather we are processing brain generated images we are using to think with-thinking in pictures or images streams. Also if our OPTIC Vision is OFF there is a good chance our hearing is too. The proficient picture thinkers of autism have figured all of this stuff out and sadly it has never been in a text book nor it discernible in Autism Research until ALL of the Temple Grandin types are admitted to. The thoughts we are figuring out are at one end of the scale more basic and even a sublevel thought for a normal thought we are being taught with OR we are doing something Savant or Einstein. Autism Is BOTH Mr/DD and Einstein. Odds are today it is MR/DD our double blind experience proves that.

Led by Mari Davies, a UCLA graduate student in psychology, and Susan Bookheimer, a professor of psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA, the research compared brain activity between 16 typically developing children and 16 high-functioning children with autism. While undergoing functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), both groups were shown a series of faces depicting angry, fearful, happy and neutral expressions. In half the faces, the eyes were averted; with the other half, the faces stared back at the children. Not even their autistic research subjects realized at the time their Optic and brain generated thoughts were interchanged thus while looking at the brain generated thoughts, they missed the social clues. With the typically developing group, the researchers found significant differences in activity in a part of the brain called the ventrolateral prefrontal cortex (VLPFC), which is known to play a role in evaluating emotions. While these children looked at the direct-gaze faces, the VLPFC became active; with the averted-gaze pictures, it quieted down. In contrast, the autistic children showed no activity in this region of the brain whether they were looking at faces with a direct or an indirect gaze. If any autism research would be so kind as to study our anthropology of very high functioning people and put us threw those tests we could tell when we are picture thinking and we are using traditional thoughts, I bet that would answer a lot of questions. Our Thought process has NEVER been in a text book before! It is a different kind of human thought process. “This part of the brain helps us discern the meaning and significance of what another person is thinking,” Davies said. “When responding to someone looking straight at you, as compared to someone who’s looking away, the brain discerns a difference. When the other person looks away, the brain quiets down.” For instance, with angry expressions, the brain may quiet down, because when a negative gaze is averted, it is no longer seen as a direct threat.

“Gaze has a huge impact on our brains because it conveys part of the meaning of that expression to the individual. It cues the individual to what is significant,” Davies said. Once we learn advanced picture in picture thoughts the social thoughts to Autism we end up doing body language pretty well. While the results show the key role of eye gaze in signaling communicative intent, it also shows that autistic children, even when gazing directly into someone’s eyes, don’t recognize visual cues and don’t process that information. That may be why children diagnosed with autism have varying degrees of impairment in communication skills and social interactions and display restricted, repetitive and stereotyped patterns of behavior. Those of us figuring out our picture thoughts do better and better in real life as we mature and absently learn our picture thoughts Still and motion pictures are what Temple Grandin wrote about in Thinking in Pictures and our anthropology that has not be admitted to yet or studied adds picture in Picture thoughts Projection thoughts and 3 and 4 Dimension (Einstein and savant types) thoughts to the autism thoughts and in the end we nearly mimic normal thoughts like you use.

It is also being Deaf and Blind at the same time for a few moments at a time.


I hope that someday when my highfunctiong anthropology is figured out the world will be better versed in just what it is we as humans do to think.

One core value currently missed in all of autism research is OUR EYES might be OPEN but our Optic vision is OFF! Our brains seem to switch between optic and brain generated images with ease. It took many of us years to figure out we were not always seeing with optic vision. The Brain generated images range from SIMPLE SIMPLE stuff like how to write the letter "J" to postcard pictures of family events etc. When we drive we work very hard to only think with optic vision. Proficient picture thinkers will allow some Picture in picture thoughts (advanced Autism) if we need some directions etc. Psychology needs to know of our Still and Motion picture thoughts (Temple mentioned those), Picture in Picture thoughts, they make us social, projection thoughts they are good all around helpers in connecting autism to normal thoughts, and 3 and 4 dimension thoughts they make us Einstein and Rain Man. When we are young we can only do one thought at a time. My Dad "knew" this and often waited for eye contact to return before completing a conversation. He told me years ago once I returned to earth as he called it I could hear and do stuff.

Another core value missed is when our optic vision is OFF so is our hearing lots of times. When Picture Thinking, we seem to be going into "survival mode" and only process the high pitches or odd noises that trigger us to return to optic vision, sometimes just in time to keep us from being ran over by a bus. I often see the same hearing traits when I'm with my blind friends. When I travel with my blind friend Eric we both hear the vacuum leaks or the odd noises of cars passing us on the motorway. I use that noise to my advantage in my mechanic trade. Normal people would need a decibel meter to hear what we hear at times. I was puzzled as anyone (1967) why I passed that hearing test in first grade but couldn't hear?

Now when our OPTIC Vision is OFF and hearing at times it can be for a few milliseconds to a few minutes if we are really thinking. Many of us in our anthropology report being struck with the thought of "how did we get here? " We know we were at the dining room table but, the last thing we remember was we were out of doors? We have answered that with the idea we were picture thinking while walking and thus the real world was not being processed. It made us Bad socialites as we never seen body language, If our hearing was off and we only hear the high stuff our volume control is off as well. It also made us blind and thus our probable intolerance for changing the furniture around-we could no longer walk around the house half dazed without stubbing our toe or falling over a sofa. I know for sure it made me a horrible baseball player, I was 40 before I could control my picture thought enough to play ball, today I can catch a ball like anyone else as I keep my optic vision ON.

It seems those of us in our group all operate on Still and Motion pictures they seem to be the basics the default autism thoughts if you will. The highfunctioning people in our group do the more Advanced thoughts and we all have our own "picture thought personal dictionary" We often report having to adjust our picture thought dictionaries to the real world. We also report developing STILL pictures first then motion picture thoughts and then depending on our luck some went on to 3 and 4 Dimension thoughts and others did a projection thought. Keep in mind we were all self taught and came up with the same thing in the end ignorant of each other.(Often spread around the world, speaking different languages) I wonder if autism is not the very base human language all humans share? It took some of us 40 and 50 years to figure out this autism thought process and some have done it in 20. Of course by the time we are that age, Autism and research doesn't want to know about us especially if are not in a group home.

I would love to have our group united in one spot, those of us that have met in person seem to share a natural communication that we have with no one else. When I met autistic author **** ******** I'm sure those witnessing our conversation were puzzled. We were at a Bob Evans in a booth and talking away in picture thoughts and despite setting two foot from each other we often never seen each other as the optic vision picture thoughts were on. I wonder if we were taped if it would not have sounded like "Martians?

Every Autistc Person

Could be a Savant-probably IS a Savant-it is just hard luck at the moment we all are not.

A Savant is only a first step of autism, those of us figuring out autism do what the Savant does 1000s of times per day-thus we over came autism.

Once again yours truly has made a bold statement but, it is based in real life functioning autism that I can safely say no modern self elected autism expert knows about. They would make the statement 1 in 10 autistic persons are savants. The worst offender of all was the famous Dr Rimland father of the movie Rain Man. Granted he naturally exploited the savant like all of autism does but, his worse offense in autism was not fostering the investigation into those of us that made it in the real world. It seems billion dollar Empires like autism have cloth ear$. There are at least 200 more Temple Grandin's in the world and they will not talk to us. In their autism world there is little motivation to listen to someone destined for a group home or someone dummed down to the point of a zombie, courtesy of modern autism practice.

I would guess there even less Savants today in autism than ever before as modern autism took away our very best chances at becoming a "savant". In a time and space before Rain Man and Autism Buzzword Status when no one cared that we were odd strange kids, we were allowed to absently develop our autism skills during THE LACK OF EYE CONTACT stages of our thoughts. That is where the Savant and indeed the all autism thoughts come from. If we have good Autism Picture thoughts we become a savant-if we have good communication ability we become pretty well rounded people. Often times we are tops in our fields thanks to picture thoughts, image streams and obsessions. All of those ideas are absolute taboo concepts in modern autism-thus the experts have spoken and it appears like they really do know what they are talking about but in reality Dr. Rimland and others had some very shoddy,shadely logic and thus missed the foundations to Autism and we are stuck with this natural me$$.

Actually All Autism thoughts have the ability to be a savant thought and Simple Picture thoughts like Temple wrote about are very detailed. Many of us do 3 and 4 dimension thoughts the ultimate Autism thoughts. Our Autism success is the ability to convert our very complicated thoughts to your words and thoughts. If Autism were ever taught in a proper course we would spend many hours learning to convert autism thoughts to words. Rain Man the character in the movie was simply reading the phone book in his picture thoughts. The only things he could convert to words were his thoughts on the phone book (basically). The autism picture thought ability was there obviously and he was only smart enough or experienced enough to convert limited phone book type of picture thoughts to words. In a way he might have impressed the general public as he went from group home idiot to genius in a few seconds but all autistic have that natural ability. All of us in our anthropology not only read the phone book like he did we also read social thoughts, everyday thoughts and sometimes do 1000s of them per day. It would be an easy process for us as we naturally think in pictures but those of us in the real world can tell you typical humans are on a different plane than we are. All Autism thoughts need watered down and converted to words to be spoken. Modern Autism assumes we are MR/DD as we present, and in reality we are working our way DOWN TO YOUR THOUGHTS not up from MR/DD. Pictures and picture thoughts are worth a 1000 words, trouble is which ones do you use and HOW do you learn to use the right ones, and get them out in time to keep up with a conversation? We did this naturally on our own-please learn from us and don't ignore us any longer. The future of your Autistic kid rests with our knowledge base. None of this has ever been in a text book let alone taught in an autism School.

The kicker to this autism mess is our thoughts are invisible to you and happen during the Lack of eye contact. During this time we need to be doing Still and Motion picture thoughts, Picture in Picture thoughts (they make us social) Projection thoughts, 3 and 4 Dimension thoughts (they make us Rain Man and Einstein) all of which have never been in a text book before. Autism is Einstein and it is also MR/DD depending on the ignorance of our teachers. All of us in our anthropology that Autism will not admit to have figured out all of these thoughts on our own ignorant of each other. No matter what country we are from or language we speak our autism thoughts are same. They seem to be the very baseline natural human thoughts we all build from. They seem to be the basic human code all humans have. We have discovered our autism thoughts really are the building blocks of man's mind and if some researchers would care to investigate we have entire new frontiers to explore not to mention a few 1000 pages to add to a psychology text books.

People respect Turing, Einstein, Carver, Grandin and our modern autism folks . (those doing too well are banished from Autism circles) Those mostly missing the curse have also made a great impact in the fabric of life. Our Inventions have connected the world our social skills have developed newspaper columns, our real life ability is something we learned on our own and its "secret code" is shared by all humans but only figured out by a few of us. The building blocks of the human mind are here in plain sight but most of the human population is wearing blinders. Even worse the blinders are held in place with thick veil of ignorance glued together with a few billion dollars worth of pure "gold." No wonder Autism is MR/DD?

PLEASE we need your help I beg of the people in the autism Spectrum and anyone else that can help we need to be investigated and our knowledge shared with all of mankind. At the moment Autism Powerbrokers will not even admit to us set us free, or even launch their own investigation into us. No other research discipline will touch us until Autism admits to us ("rules" of academia) They might have built an empire that is big bold and beautiful and even on TV and the idea behind hit movies and that gives a lot of people a purpose and a good job but they are doing their craft at the expense of mankind. Your kids are paying the price as they are destined for a group home as they are "lovingly" ignorantly molded, by modern "all knowing autism" into a zombie.
