Pre Rain Man Autism

Figured out Autism is the next 1000 chapters in psychology. Once we learn the picture thoughts that happen during the lack of eye contact, normal thoughts result. We build on the work of Temple Grandin and we missed Rain Man 's curse. Autism Is BOTH mrdd and Einstein and even social functioning people

Inventor of The Turing Motor a 70% efficient green triple hybird autstically designed car motor. There are at least 200 more Autisitc people like me, that function very well and modern autism will not own up to us. We connect MR/DD to Einstein and real life. We missed Rain Man's curse (thankfully) The Turing Motor is Green has no up and down moving parts and will get a reasonable car 90 MPG. It is the motor Ford and Mercedes would have built if they understood their own. It is Autistic Obession and splinter skills all figured out!

Solved Autism Any Intellignet Fool can make trouble.

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex...it takes a touch of genius-and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.  Albert Einstein

read more at  http://wwwbrainyquotes.com/quotes/authors/a/albert_einstein.html#1xzzinfp5Etih.

Einstein is often said to be Autistic  and I have to agree. His logic and insight and courage to stand up  with our autistic reason is an insight I can feel ,appreciate and do just like Einstein did. Autistic reason is something that is an inside thing that no amount of  autism researchers or psychologists will ever discover the insight we know from coming up and out of the bottom of the gene pool.  Autism is just the long hand version of human thought and nothing more. Sadly , human thought is very short sighted and humans think in short cut thoughts all the time and never know any different. If one comes up from the bottom of the gene pool like we did- autistics  simply learned a different kind of human thought process.  The human thought system is very crude and basic and only presents as normal and contemporary by accident. Once we know the long hand version of human thought  your normal thoughts result. Sadly normal thought is not very good with anything but social things. It is no wonder the human race has not progressed too much. Emotions are indeed the short cuts of  all shortcuts the human mind unknowingly uses ; those impede mankind's progress more than a book burning or a war.

If psychology knew our thought system and lack of eye contact thought process they  would see where our Einstein thought comes from  and ALSO how stupid and primitive normal human thought  really is. Humans will be very humbled and embarrassed someday when they finally discover how slack our normal thoughts are.

The gist of this post is autism research is spinning it wheels with the best of Internet had made autism a mountain and it is really a mole hole.  Autism as I say is the key to mankind's mind and it will never be discovered  until more Autistic people like me that missed contemporary autism's curse  are united and our learning cure and curve is exposed.

Rich's story case in point,,,,, Automobile troubleshooting

My gift of automobile trouble shooting ability is just wild, I can fix anything from the 1900' to the most high tech marvel or twisted up mess some  less than stealer brand of car presents.  My key to this success is indeed the courage based in the autism genius and insight to go where no other mechanic dares to go.  With the keen senses of autism and the regular automobile knowledge 'everyone knows' I came up with a different kind of automobile mold. It came to pass as I learned a different kind of car that not even Henry Ford or Mercedes knew about the piston and cylinder motors they invented, they were just tinkering and first in line to discover the obvious.

Between the knowledge and the keen hearing and the resulting odd knowledge of the car motor that floats over the average mechanic it stands to reason automobiles will forever baffle the motoring public. Mechanics will always be parts re placers until they really know the nitty gritty engineering details that even Henry didn't know.  Honestly my best  and most effective repair of a car motor is an overhaul ,motor cleaning, in a can of oil. The motor needs to be spotless and clean and most cars will run perfect, even Chrysler's. The built up dirt simply impedes motor operation and some times to the point it makes the motor and it parts move slow or even stick to the point where it ruins the smooth operation of the car.  Once the motor is messed up it and slow it sets off the trouble codes in the computer and in reality there is nothing wrong with the computer but it sets off the trouble codes all the same. That sets off the parts re placers ,mechanics and then a comedy of error upon error results.

Trust me if you keep your motor  is this clean via 1500 mi oil changes it will run perfect and practically forever. The key to the whole motor ideal is simply keeping the dirt out of the motor and the only way to do that is change the oil . Oils last job in the motor is lubrication its first (unknown job)  is collecting the dirt of combustion.

Yes as a matter of Fact, I have came up with a better motor the Turing Motor it features one central spinning cylinder and runs on compressed air ,electric and gas.  It is very green and will offer over 90 mpg in a reasonable car.

Getting the Stiches out!

No Roxie, It didn't hurt!

Well three weeks after the operation on my shoulder, I finally got to the doctor's office to get the now well grown in stitches removed.  The doctor was setting beside me while he removed the stitches and Roxie was in front of me seeing my skin pulled very far, as the stitches finally realised. I could see Roxie, just wince in her pain I never felt.

I asked the doctor if it should hurt?  He didn't say much- until I commented you could remove the stitches with a machine gun and I would never feel it. The doctor had the puzzled look on his face just as nurses did in the hospital nurses and staff did as they realized I was mostly painless.  Once again Medical science has never had the privilege of experiencing our pain tolerance. Initially the doctor comment as all do, well it is good you don't feel pain. However, in reality it is damn dangerous when you don't feel pain. Case in point this shoulder was infected and 'hurting way too much for too long and thus that is why it got so bad and so messed up. The real surgery and damage to my body was much worse than it would have been had I felt something below 7 on the pain scale.

Well at least the stitches are gone and I can do a shower now. I discovered my shoulder movement is a bit less now but that is a small price to pay for keeping the shoulder in some working order.

Begging me to get to the Hospital

Well this was a first,

Dr Bishop and her associates started calling me at work and begging me to get to the hospital after they examined my infected shoulder. One with the  autism pain tolerance working as usual I had no idea I should have been in pain and no my shoulder never hurt. Then I  was highly suspicious ,I have never been asked ,even begged to get to the hospital before. In fact, I have been kicked out and kept from  the hospital since I am one of the billions of people with out health insurance. This was a new experience for me ,I honestly had a hard time trusting the genuine  heart felt fear she had for my health.

Well, anyway after enduring a day of phone calls from Dr Bishop's assistant that ranked right up there with some calls from bill collectors I made it to the hospital on Thursday. I was scheduled for a two hour procedure and it took four since there was so much damage.  The infection turned out to be a bug of some type that lives out side your armpit, that jumped the skin barrier ended up inside the armpit. It was eating muscle and flesh and it is called P something.

I came out of the extended operation missing a lot of flesh and muscle. I am now on a high power antibiotic given via I V and will be for about 15 more days .  I guess she was begging me to get to the hospital for a reason, Thanks again Dr Bishop for getting me in there and staying so late and saving my life.

Of course the 1st day after surgery I felt good especially when the epidural wore off my arm and I could feel my fingers again. NO NOTHING HURT not even the chopped up shoulder.  I moved it with total ease and its only limit was the missing muscle and flesh that once helped it work. The Nurses at OSU EAST hospital were so set back when I refused all my pain meds. I was offered oxy contion time and again . When  I was force fed Perk-a-set some years ago after another operation the trip was just too wild to ever take it again. I figured the oxy contion would be just a wild trip as well, one I did not want to deal with- ever. Perhaps this is a clue to our pain tolerance and our bodies are indeed different.I suspect most people never go on a trip with just one pain pill.  It is just very hard convincing anyone in the practice of medicine I didn't need a damn pain pill. The nurses felt like they were abusing me when I refused to touch them.

Over time the nurses seen I really didn't feel pain too much if at all. They even took my blood pressure right over the chopped up arm  and it didn't hurt.  While in the Hospital my ever faithful hip went out of place and I rang the nurse button and they came in to see me in agony, but no pain. One nurse said your in pain!    and just don't know it . After that I did agree to one small pain pill and it was wild to fell the  pain I never  feel go away. I simply did few a few exercise moves and put my hip back in place and an hour later I was walking down the hall to the shock of the nurses!

Well for sure this newest lack of pain experience has opened up too many eyes to the fact medical practice is just that practice. The idea of not feeling pain has lost its appeal to me as it makes you too much of a circus act. I am just glad I am not in the Lilly Drug Torture chamber. I am just as delighted   contemporary Autism forgot all about the pain tolerance or they would be first in line to exploit it. Oh forgive me  - help us.

Five of Nine Lives \\ point taken and not a moment too soon.

Five of Nine Lives

For people that have known me for years this medical horror story is just one more Rich event. For those hearing of the autism Pain tolerance for the first time it will sound like Science Fiction. Autism both the contemporary and old versions were noted for its people demonstrating a pain tolerance . Old autism brochures prior to the Rain Man Era spoke of kids that would not move to be comfortable in mothers arms. The truth be told we were not uncomfortable. We only feel 7 and above on the pain scale. My Autism Hero Alan Turing 1912-1954 ran Marathons with out walls! He never hurt or ached from sore stiff joints or even displayed any form of tired like his fellow runner did. The Autism pain Tolerance was once common knowledge and today it surely baffles parents and care givers and probably the autism guy him self. I have learned via experience and life of hard real world knocks that I thought I felt pain but until I really DID feel pain for the first time with an abscess tooth I never knew pain. The pain we don’t feel is VERY dangerous.

I spent the last 5 days in Doctors West Hospital in Columbus ,Ohio . I was taken there via EMS services and a very eventful day nearly deadly day. Right after I got my hair cut (thanks Curt) I started feeling poor. I stopped at Aldi to get milk and never even got out of the van , I just felt horrible… I drove to 500 and got the van indoors and then used the rest room and fainted. I felt my self going down so I laid down before I fell…… I came too took 5 more steps and laid down and fainted again… This next time I fainted I made it to the office and must have been out for a few hours… I came to and called my sister and she and my neighbor Adam got me to the Hospital via a 911 call.

I could not stand or walk and my ever faithful hip hurt like hell. I made it to the ER and presented with all kinds of major issues . Doctor’s Hospital ,bless them did a wonderful job of testing and caring. The long story short I was 5 pints low on blood. I had been bleeding internally probably for a few years via a bleeding ulcer. I was operated on and the ulcer was fixed. I was given lots more blood and soon felt wonderful…. Wonderful is a FALSE positive in Autism circles . I know finally feeling perfect is just a fact of the ideal the pain tolerance dropped below 7.

I had been getting really weak for at least 2 weeks before this and was sleeping 12 hours a day some days. I had the almost exact same thing happen two years prior to this and was also hospitalized but I felt better and was released with out any diagnosis.

The biggest lesion I learned this time sitting there in the hospital counting my 9 lives was I better wake up and take very close look at those lives and slow down ,A point taken finally.

The repaired instine ulcer is directly over a staple installed from a earlier operation . This is the science fiction bit and my guess. I can actually feel the hip on right side move in and out of joint,,, NO it doesn’t hurt, NOT so ironically very spot that hurts around the hip joint is very spot where the intestine repair was . How do you tell a doctor a science fiction story like that? I am very thankful Dr. Mehta and his staff worked Thanksgiving day and now all is well. The staple may or may not be a factor in the ulcer but in my mind they are just too close for comfort. I wonder did the staple puncture the intestine? We might never know but I am grateful and thankful for the blood some A neg blood donor gave . Once you stare death in the face, and count the pints of blood going in you- One appreciates life more than before.

I had been bleeding for at least 3 weeks according to the nurses and doctors but I never knew to look at the stool in the commode and read the color of it.

All is well that ends well IF you learned a lesson and I finally learned one this time, as I shook and cried when removing the Hospital ID band, It could have been on a toe in the morgue….

As you can see the Pain Tolerance has written another small but potent chapter to Medical history and as I say I am delighted no drug company has us in their torture chamber as guinea pigs . Add the psychology bit of autism to the story and man’s mind and roots are fully explained via a Di Vinci Code that the best of research will never be privileged to discover. It takes one to know one! Please note ,,, man thinks in short cut thoughts all the time and Autistics learn to do that too. AFTER we learn the long hand version of human thought that starts below 123 and the ABC’s

Walk on by

The bottom part reads: Saturday OCT 9, Value City Arena, Ohio State

Curse You Rain Man ,,,,,

I know those are not words or thoughts that make me any friends especially in this autism age but please hear me out... Autism Before Rain Man was one the road to being solved.  Then the Rain Man Era got a hold of the wrong end of the stick and made a mountain from a mole hill and regrettably lost track of the real autism the autism that is BOTH MR/DD and Einstein.

Normal researchers have  never made the leap we have from the bottom of the gene pool up to the normal thoughts of life and as such I can assure you ALL autism research is a farce,,, but a peer review and approved farce so that makes it "OK". No Autism Researcher has had to teach themselves the picture thoughts that we had to. Those Picture thoughts Temple Grandin talks about and WE build on are the very keystone to all of man's mind. No researcher has seen the light , the glory  ,the success of connecting those lack of eye contact thoughts to normal ones. No researcher has  a clue to what our normal is and  when  we finally learned how  to completely think in Pictures it makes us function. If they did they would know the next 1000 chapters in Psychology. Everything we did to over come Autism is also the blueprint for the mind and man is so stupid he is smart but not smart enough to ever realize he naturally thinks in short cuts  and thus it is the reason why psychology and medicine are so inept.

Our Picture thoughts fully developed make us Einstein and Di Vinci and Turing (father of the computer) among others but even though contemporary autism has its heart in the right spot, it has made autism loose track of the real point to the condition and that means man kind is once again cheating himself  out of the cornerstone thoughts that make  man's mind work. If those thoughts are not figured out they make us group home material and give a lot of researchers a job pointing the finger at the obvious parts of autism and all the while as usual missing the entire point.

Our complete living anthropology of people mostly older that missed Rain Man era antics that build on and have figured out Temple Grandin's picture thoughts, are blackballed from autism as the peer review can't explain or tolerate our real life success. Our autism figured out is NOT the knowledge contemporary autism wants to know about ,let lone admit to- it will cripple contemporary autism starting from the late Dr. Rimland to the modern 'greats of autism' . The knowledge base we figured out has never been in a text book before and we learned it on our own. If ONLY a few other researchers knew it and would give us the time of day (not likely) Autism could be reduced to a grade one threw six school where we could emerge from the grips of autism totally able to cope and even catch a ball and do sports. It would also ignite the passion of our splinter skills and the Einstein side of all of us would shine.  Remember autism is MR/DD and Einstein but until (a hard sell) one researcher makes the same connection we have autism is doomed to the Walk- a- thon. Think of all the humanity that is wasted with this  research mis conduct?

Ironically everything that was good and worked for us , when we over came autism by happenstance is today mostly labeled taboo,, see what happens when normal thinkers try (so hard) to figure out what have but they have never had a different kind of human thought process. In the end Autism is nothing more than the long hand version of human thought and man doesn't even understand his current shorthand version of the mind.

One More Link

From the Web, with respect to the original copyright holder (unknown)

NOT ONLY DO WE SHARE SO MUCH WE THINK THE SAME TO!

The graphic above is full of close matches and IF man knew of his Picture Thought mind base there would be one more striking match among all of the beings on earth. Our minds are same base thought!

As I have come full circle in life and learned a different kind of thought process the long hand version of human thought (AKA) autism I have been privileged to discover our minds roots.  The day I was sitting with a parrot some years ago and listening to him talk is the day I realized his picture thoughts and mine were the SAME. As Autistic  people, are often noted for we have  a keen relation ship with animals like Temple Grandin (wrote Thinking in Pictures) and her cows.  I have walked up to Pit Bulls and they melt, I have untangled a deer from a fence, the meanest dogs simply melt when I am around them. That is part of the autism super senses and indeed our mind set: We relate and connect to animals. It is no wonder dogs are man's best friends we think so much a like on a picture thought  scale.

If my Autism experience was correct and indeed I learned the long hand version of human thought, man is just useless and amazingly ignorant as he pretends he is so smart.  The picture thoughts that  we all work with are just below the surface of our minds all the time and I suspect every animal in the photo above share the same basic mind set of photo thoughts we do.   Brains are nothing more than talking photo albums and indeed ours operates much like a computer. (our Alan Turing was father of the computer)  Since most people never see their picture thoughts as they have been made redundant in 'modern life'  we don't even dream we  even have  picture thought let alone really 'think' with them.  Something on the order of your daydreams  and dreams  operate below the surface of the mind all the time. Perhaps when you have figured out and remembered a dream  or been stopped cold to 'see' in your minds eye a picture of something your stuck on do you get a glimpse of the internal working of your mind.

As you can see if man has never  knowingly experienced a picture thought let alone lived it like I have all I report  is "bunk" especially according to the 'experts'. However Experience is the only teacher in life and If the best psychology guru has never experienced a thought  like ours they are naturally out of the loop and  lost.  Picture thoughts are wild vivid and swing from MR/DD type of things to indeed Einstein. When Autism presents as 'stupid' anti-social and late it is not the fact we are dumb it is simply the fact that we are thinking with a kind of thought man has never really experienced before. The kicker of all of this is once we learn the autism long-hand thought base, and they naturally shortcut once we figure them out we end up with your normal thoughts!   All Autisitc people that have made it are typically Pre Rain Man and we learned a thought system that has never been in a book before. If science could monitor to our brains and watch the thoughts compile they would shocked. Just think if they could read the brain waves (EEG type of thing) as we describe a picutre thought to them?

Once our thoughts are figured out  and mapped just like the DNA maps and the next 1000 chapters of psychology result from this discovery man will be very humbled to discover how cave person he still is. Not only will future Psychologists be 100% effective they will be able to tap into the minds of animal relation as well -and we all share the same picture thoughts.

Rich Shull on the blog Pre Rain Man Autism

Ps don't confuse Old and New age Autism- New Autism people have had an arm tied around their back with all the so called help of modern autism that has been mostly useless.  Older Folks ,(mostly undiagnosed but stange) like me were that last generation to be able to self- discover the roots of man's mind.  Autism was not diagnosabe unitl the 1970's in any great numbers unless it was severe.  So much for progress.

Preview to Johan Shull 1850-2025 the mind explained

My god, not another   :))) (smile)  is one coment you might hear from those read my first book, Autism, Pre Rain Man Autism. It was an awful book in some respects and I'll admit it but it did chart new ground, and built on Temple's Thinking in Picutres. Like the first book it was not written for the obvious reason of writing a book but, rather the roadmap it presented to man's mind. This current book Johan Shull 1850-2025 will if successfull expose all the details of man's mind.  It has to be science fiction as of this moment in time its all new news to man but it really isn't  but it has never been in a book before.

Frm Chapter Two,,,, A Slice of the book

New Chapter TWO

The Making of Einstein the Realization of my Genius

Old Chinese Saying: I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand.

I hate to shatter the perception of genius but non instant genius is a time game. Like Einstein and many more autistic people that started out stupid- or at the bottom of the gene pool we often shine in later life. My friend Hajo for example just passed the Mensa IQ test and he like me was not the brightest kid in school. He is 40 something as of this writing. I started out life, swimming in the bottom of the gene pool and yes, climbing out of it has been a 35 year double blind psychology experience that has finally come full circle and the mind I have figured out, the same human mind you call normal is not all that impressive. It spans from the lower end of the scale in the depths of retardation and then on to savants, when all figured out normal thoughts and indeed the Einstein bits. Every human mind has the Einstein potential in it and even those in Special Education have great hope if the experience I describe here is taken to heart, proven and put into text books. Autism figured out is the next 1000 chapters in psychology and in my case the next 500 chapters in engineering.

Since this all of this is new news and never been in a text book before it has to be ‘science fiction’. The peer review, university establishment is not fond of totally new ideas and ideals and the very peer review that is supposed to foster discovery impedes it. Furthermore being a late term genius is not the best timing in the world, when you’re claiming you figured out the mind of Einstein. Normal traditional thinkers naturally think they have the key to genius as it is discovered in early life, in their opinion but, sometimes its not.

I learned and followed a different kind of road map and different kind of human thought process that again has never been in a text book. When all is figured out I have done nothing more than build one thought upon another in the more basic forms of the mind that evolution is ignorant of. Man’s mind is nothing more than a big picture dictionary haphazardly merged with the senses and it only flows when all the evolutionary shortcuts are working and honed to perfection. Every aspect of the mind is explained in Picture Thoughts. Yes I’m talking your daydreams and dreams, they are our default thought process and we think in pictures all the time. Autistic author, Temple Grandin wrote a book titled Thinking in Pictures, explaining some of the ideas. My first book Autism Pre Rain man Autism built on her book and even illustrated some of the picture thoughts. My biggest challenge with this book will be explaining man’s thoughts to man him. Man is in a evolutionary rut when it comes to the working of his mind and man’s mind has hit an internal plateau and the emotions that have come to substitute for fact ,logic and reason will just not be worthy of the mass ignorance of all the human race coupled together. It might well be centuries before this work is discovered and figured out by the common person or ends up in a philosophy discussion group. In general, more people you get together, the less able any of them are. Sir Winston Churchill had it all figured out when he said, “The biggest argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.” Di Vinci chimed in with” Wake up you miserable humans”; others have said their piece as well. Man’s mind is not all that good at things and once you discover how it is built and how it operates and the simple shortcuts we use I fear the discovery will cause man in general to be very disappointed in himself; the mirror will show a cave person looking back at us as we look at ourselves with a chip on our shoulder.

The building blocks of the mind that I talk about here, are the same for everyone, only most people never get to experience them as their blessed with a version of normal thought to start with. This source code for psychology is awesome in many respects and for once as my psychology is explained in this book we can have a smooth flowing explanation for every thing about the mind. Normal is a normal does and that means the true bearings and foundation of the mind are buried in plain sight and logically that is best place to hide anything. Normal minds operate on a series of short cuts as our minds lump together many different fuctions. Everything we do from talking to listening to vision to thinking to social behavior , even, fear, motivation, dyslexia, stuttering, personality issues , genius, savants, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias ,ESP , dreams and day dreams all flow together and have common building block roots based in that big photo album we call a brain. Everything Psychology is all figured out as I explain my Autism, Einstein my inventions the sad part will be it will be, the brain is like a 1940’s big plug in telephone switchboard that is overloaded and has only one operator. The evolution theory by Darwin will get a big boost with this psychology explanation and it will even tell us as humans, WHY parrots talk they have picture thoughts figured out! For sure dog training will get much easier. I predict dogs, cats, birds and other animals all have various forms of our brains or is it we have various versions of their brains? If you doing a big belly laugh about now and saying hogwash follow along with this example.

You’re going along having a pleasant chat with some one and you’re suddenly stumped. YOU MINDS EYE lights up and you looking at a picture of someone or something important to the conversation and YOUR forced to say, I can picture him, her, to it and can’t place the name. You Optic vision are OFF you thinking hard to figure out who that is?

What you have just done is tap into the one of the 1000’s upon 1000’s of picture thoughts that makes your mind work. If science could do the very same thing by hooking a monitor to our brains and see every picture thought we have and every thought we use to form a simple sentence you would have the clue you need to figure out the mind. This is where man’s mind is one big picture thought album. It consists of minds eye photos we have seen (memories) new images our brains makes on its own and 100’s of shortcuts that make us social functioning.

I bet most of you have a very similar story to tell, a very similar experience to share. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Those same pictures flow in our minds all the time, these same intense pictures make for my Einstein thoughts. Those same pictures when built upon one by one and intertwined with the human senses and coupled with emotion- the lightening rod of human thought make the simple human mind do what it does. Man really is a fool to himself.

More 1600's picture thoughts

THE SOUL OF THE WORLD

Rosie Jackson celebrates the anima mundi

The Philosophers’ Secret Fire: A History of the Imagination

Patrick Harpur
Penguin Books, UK, 2002, £9.99

The Oonark Eskimos were unimpressed by man’s lunar landing. `That’s nothing,’ said one. `My uncle went to the moon lots of times.’ But in a culture as hostile as ours to the wisdom of vision and enchantment, the authenticity of such metaphorical experience has been denied. With matter defined as the only reality, things as `immaterial’ as the soul, imagination, or less visible worlds are deemed to have no substance and therefore not to matter: even as I write, Professor Stephen Hawking is on air declaring belief in God to be infantile.

In this context, Patrick Harpur’s brilliant new study of the imagination - impassioned, wise, wry, humane, full of dynamic scholarship and inspired argument - is especially welcome. A fascinating, beautifully written history, not only is it intellectually meaty, overflowing with telling insight and detailed example, but on a heart level it reminds us of the deeply healing effects of a more generous and imaginal way of seeing. I found myself reviewing my own life in a new way: decisions driven by promptings from intuitions or dreams no longer seemed crazy, but full of divinest sense; I was left vindicated and reassured, with a renewed trust in the unconscious.

The problem is less one of ignorance than amnesia. In our forgetting of a larger, more sacred vision, our literalism - taking this too solid world as the only truth - has become a kind of curse. For the ancient Greeks, truth was aletheia - `not forgetting’ - and learning less an act of cognition than of recognition: a process of remembering. Since incarnation itself was held to be a falling away from wholeness - the Primary Imagination, out of which we are born and to which we return - the deepest forms of human knowledge and creativity could not be more than partial recoveries of this original state. Hence Plato’s anamnesis, or `recollection’ - the activity of the Secondary, or human, Imagination: `a power of working at a barrier of darkness, recovering verities which we somehow know of, but have in our egoistic fantasy life “forgotten”.’

Harpur’s powerful chronicle of this eclipsed tradition of otherworldly beings - angels, devils, gods, sidhe, the whole prolific realm once known as `faery’ - helps us remember a way of inhabiting the world that is more ambiguous and shape-shifting than the dull secularism which has come to prevail these last three centuries. His `daimonic’ reality – close to Jung’s `psychic’ and Hillman’s `imaginal’ - invokes a world that is inner as much as outer, where the imagination may not come from us so much as contain us: `It’s as likely that gods imagine us as that we imagine them.’ He undermines dogmatic atheism and the arrogance of any human-centred universe which assumes God to be our invention rather than vice versa. And the reductive literalism we inhabit - our culture’s negative default button – becomes little more than another fiction, another myth, hell-bent on denying the soul. `The sin of the ego is to wish to sever itself from its own source; its tragedy is that it sometimes succeeds.’

Some of the contours of his map of the imagination are familiar - the ideas of Heraclitus, Plotinus and Plato, Coleridge, Eliot and Hughes, Boehme, Blake and Yeats, Jung and Hillman – and the notion that from the early 17th century, the falling away of an imaginal reality has gathered momentum. In the process of our increased materialism of value and thought, we have lost vital touch with the anima mundi – the soul of the world – that collective energy which manifests both spiritually and physically and whose neglect has led to our current lack of meaning and beauty. Banished and suppressed, however, otherworldly realities do not die but return in more disturbing form – the daimonic turns into the demonic – what Yeats called those `lethargies and cruelties and timidities’ whose roots lie in a denial of imagination.

But as he traces the mercurial shifts of a neo-Platonic tradition through the centuries, expertly weaving together Norse and Greek myth, Renaissance magi and alchemists, ancient and modern theorists of dream and the unconscious, Harpur does something new. Part of his genius lies in the rich, non-linear way he re-tells the imagination’s history, part in the originality of his contemporary insights. At every turn he draws out the pertinence of a particular idea for our times, re-reading our literal culture in a symbolic way. The World Wide Web becomes an unconscious imitation of the anima mundi, Mediterranean holidays under a scorching sun turn into rituals of initiation, tourism a `secular pilgrimage’, Western medicine an echo of the mysteries of the alchemists, Derrida and post-structuralism a debased version of Kabbalism, anorexia a hunger for meaningful entry into society – all inverted attempts to invent ritual that is otherwise lacking.

Nor is this is simply a book about the imagination: for all his profound and impressive scholarship, Harpur effectively thinks in images. The texture is almost filmic in the movement from scene to imagined scene: Petrarch’s manifesto of the daimonic nature of man after a vision on the summit of Mount Ventoux in 1336; Edward Kelley and John Dee gathering with alchemists in Prague in 1583; or the fatal beginnings of the modern outlawing of the imagination in 1623 when one Marin Mersenne, `the vegan spider’, dressed in black from head to foot, condemns Ficino, Pico, the magic of hermeticism and the anima mundi. Amongst the most graphic is the portrait of Charles Darwin, `doubled up, trembling, vomiting, and dowsing himself in icy water’. Darwin’s recoil from the profusion of the natural world - nauseous at `the sight of a feather in a peacock’s tail’ – leads Harpur into the most incisive yet concise critique of Darwinism I have ever seen, all the more powerful for being focused, as dreams are, around an image. (`Image is psyche’, said Jung.)

It would be hard to overestimate the value of Harpur’s book or to praise it too highly. Packed with fabulous detail at which I can only hint here, it convinces us once again that everything is soul. We’re offered a timely reminder to recall our larger mystical selves, to conceive of possibilities of transformation, to remove the constraints from our limited notion of reality and celebrate life’s infinite and sacred inventiveness.

And without this restoration, how can we move forwards? It is the ability to imagine ourselves in the place of another which is the essential movement behind love: if the imagination is atrophied, so is the heart. A world which fails to foster the imagination fails to foster compassion – and the lethal consequences of that we know only too well.

If all of this Autism picutre thought I push holds water It will fit right in with this post. What we are talking about is nothing more than building blocks of the mind the sublevel thoughts that make the human mind function. Evolution and time have moved man a bit further from these picutre thinking ideals with every generation. *They are both MR/DD and Einstein*  In fact, the current day 2009 thought process mans uses and 'knows' as normal thought seems to be nothing more than the long hand version of autism shortcutted (= normal thoughts). Read other posts on this blog to see how we still think in picutres and generally never know it, unless were stuck and forced to say I can picutre "it" but can't put a name to it.

I am seeking a picture I seen years ago in a 1960's National Geographic Magazine of heirogylphics on a cave wall. The caption was "it was a dinner order" in so many words, a carry out order from the pre horistoric times. I seen it has pre historic first grade class room frozen in time. The picutre thinker in me  seen the idea of a picture-in-picture thought being explained. P-in-P thought is a key factor in the evolution of man's mind and if we were exclusive picutre thinkers at one time ,this learning experience would have been necessary to evolve. Once I find a copy of that picture I'll post it here.

Eyewitness Accounts Debunked

2009, (A few years too early), PICTURE THOUGHTS explain the so called eyewitness accounts.

Someday if man is lucky and he discovers the building block thoughts that make his mind work, the once sure tried and true "Eyewitness Account" will be ranked among the 'here- say' evidence. If the Autism Theory holds water and proves itself via our long hand step by step picture thought system (autism) being explained in this blog, mans mind will be proven to be too haphazardly put  together to be trusted, in actual accounts of things.

Man's mind operates on picture thoughts. These picture thoughts run below the surface of his mind like a silent IBM 360 computer (1960's innovation) and he reads into his mind actual pictures from his physical vision -experience. Then there are the thought pictures man's mind makes /as actual memories are remastered and turned into new thoughts.(this would be thinking in pictures)  Over all there are 1000's upon 1000's of picture thoughts on tap and the brain just picks and chooses the ones it needs to view at the current time. Once those thoughts are chosen they are translated to words and 'put back on the shelf'. The trouble is man often controls his life including those picture thoughts we think with ; with emotions. Emotions are the lightening rod of sanity and insanity and the short cut for real logic. When emotion controls our picture thought we use to view and relate to the world our eyewitness accounts they might very well be flawed one way or the other.

Example if Mary Jo a store clerk is occasionally short 5 lbs in her cash drawer and a covert operation is instituted to catch her, here is might what happen. A camera is installed above her cash register. Her friend Sue is employed to watch, as her enemy Martha. Finally the event happens Mary Jo drops money while counting it and bends over to pick it up. It looks like on Camera she pocketed that money. She is 5 lbs short that day. Marta the enemy seen the event and swears as she recalls she picked up the money... If science could hook a monitor to Martha's brain and see the picture thoughts she used to relate that, it would be accurate. Friend Sue seen the same event and can't say she did pick up the money. If science could tap Sue's brain she to would be telling the truth as well. The camera missed it as well it was in the wrong place to get the shot need to prove she nicked the note. She is fired and upon changing the till its discovered the all the missing money fell out into the back of the drawer, Mary Jo never stole a thing.

Man's mind operates on picture thoughts they run below the surface all the time except when we dream or daydream , image stream or  he is caught off guard and we as humans are forced to say I can picture "It" but can't put a name to "It". Those exposed picture thoughts play in our minds eye all the time. In reality those are just a glimpse of the 1000's that compile , form and are translated into new thoughts and words. Man's mind is a BIG slide show! Autistically not starting on the same level as the normal population I had to learn the nitty gritty picture thoughts that allows man to talk, function and think. Normal people usually just have that ability built in and they are fine starting life with the ABC's and the 123's. However it is the sub level longhand thought we learned autisitcally that gives this idea of primitive picture thought merit.  Long hand thoughts that we learned also explain the great thinkers of the ages as we learned to use every possible version of our thoughts. Sadly normal man's thoughts have evolved too quick and become a series of too many short cuts and the quality of his thought has been lost forever.  If my dream Autism School is ever established not only can we teach autism we can actually teach Einstein as well it is in the power of every human to be Einstein but the rigerous thoughts required to figure it out  have never even been in a text book yet.   Rich Shull on the Blog Pre Rain Man Autism

The Wild Boy PAGE 38 Key to man's mind

This is a VITAL autism ,mankind clue, it deserves a post all of its own!

38 And every evening , when the doctor sat on victor's bed Victor took the doctor's hand cover his eyes and forhead with it and held it there, with out moving, for a long while. They sat like this for an hour sometimes and then the doctor would kiss him and say good night.

THIS IS THE MOST VITAL STATEMENT IN the whole book Victor was tyring to tell the doctor his EYES were OFF his optic vision was OFF and he "seen" his thoughts! By holding the doctors hands over his eyes he was trying to tell the doctor in the only way he could his OPTIC vision was not always on and When It was OFF he was thinking with "daydream" thoughts and they need to be converted to "normal thoughts"

I can hear it now as I write this in 2009 ,I can hear the experts of Psychology SCREAMING "hogwash" no one thinks in Pictures and who ever heard of a daydream based thought system. And indeed they haven't BECAUSE these daydream based thoughts are the foundation for your normal everyday thoughts. Normal Thoughts are shorthand Autism thoughts. Autism thoughts are the building blocks of the mind and if you learn all of them (invisible to normal thinkers) you yield normal thoughts. These building thoughts take place during the lack of eye contact thought process noted so well in autism circles.

Learn all of these Autism thoughts and you will see how humans form words , you will see how and way the mind works, why we have stuttering and dyslexia. You will see how autism keen senses works and where they come from . You will see where all of this cave man stuff is still here in modern humans, just absently ignored. Normal Thinkers ,just don't have the scope of mind to realize they have missed the boat and despite their best effort and most notable intention will never figure out the mind as they don't the insight to even know the building block thoughts exist let alone connect Mr/Dd to Einstein. That is not a shock when normal thinker only use 10% of the human thought spectrum. The worst news is Man is doomed to his fate, like many others before me from Einstein to Turing to Di vinci and many of our modern high functioning autistic anthropology ,we are from the "wrong planet" and often came up from the bottom of special education system. Despite figuring out life and it one by one invisible to you daydream thoughts that form normal thoughts we are too little too late. Expert man , Experts in general are not experts but rather stead fast zealots working too hard to protect one point of view. Humans are indeed in fear of change or real truth especially when it comes from the bottom of the gene pool.
